RESTAURANTS

The restaurants in the area specialise in fresh fish and seafood with raw fish ("Mediterranean sashimi") being a real speciality. You have to try it!
THE ENTERTAINER COK

Sergio Jugovac is a unique character and is known under the affectionate nickname "Čok".
Sergio handles the service while his son, Viljan, prepares wonderful fish dishes in the kitchen with the active support of Vilma, the mother.

MEDITERRANEAN SASHIMI DAMIR & ORNELLA
This cult restaurant for lovers of fish and seafood promises a natural culinary experience in a family atmosphere.
Mediterranean sashimi are filleted and prepared at the table with passion and authenticity. The day’s catch of raw scampi and fish in a marinade of the highest quality olive oil, salt, and a little lemon juice is a must. There is a small but fine selection of wines and absolutely ingenious desserts. The overall experience is perfect.
The Head Chef, Matea Beletić, is a member of the Jeunes Restaurateurs d'Europe, the European association of top chefs.
THE NEWCOMER MARINA

Despite the relatively high density of fish restaurants in town, Marina Gashi and Davor Buršić dared to open their own restaurant with a maritime focus in 2010. Guests have been thanking both of them ever since because Marina has become a culinary highlight and continues to be visited by many loyal visitors.
Our tip:
If you like raw fish, you should try the sole, which is served with red cabbage and lavender tartar on black rice.

LAND & MEER SAN ROCO
The pretty loggia is the heart of the small boutique hotel San Rocco, which itself is an ensemble of several ancient Istrian stone houses. Located in the wine village of Brtoniglia between the hinterland and the coast, the San Rocco is the perfect spot for a culinary experience that unites land and sea.
The cuisine is based on Alpe-Adria: enjoy dishes in the tradition of the Croatian hinterland from Fuzi to mushrooms and game to Boskarin beef as well as fresh fish and seafood from the nearby coast.
The special selection of olive oils is particularly worth mentioning. Olive oils and brandy vinegar are produced in-house and can also be purchased in the boutique as a souvenir.
PURE ROMANCE AMFORA

Is there anything more romantic than enjoying the sunset by the sea with a delicious plate of fish paired with a glass of Malvazija?
If this sounds like your kind of experience then this restaurant is the right place for you. The service is very friendly and the food and drinks are exquisite. We highly recommend all the fish and seafood on offer as well as the pork fillet on truffle noodles.
